Hanging out with Ziah

As most of you know I am a boy Mum. I knew in my heart of hearts that I was always going to be. When I was a little girl I always told my Mum that I was going to be a mum to twin boys. While that didn't happen, I have two boys fairly close in age who many people assumed were twins when they were younger.
Even though I love being a boy mum sometimes I crave that little girl energy...
In walks Ziah.
A sassy 2 year old with plenty of spunk. She is full of love for all things pink, unicorn related and sparkly. Throw in a few dinosaurs and a tutu and you'll be on a winner.
She explores her world in a different way to the boys. Where the boys find sticks to sword fight with, she finds a feather, and what do you do with a feather??? You tickle your own tummy with it of course. After that we wander off to look for tiny purple wild flowers to gently pick, smell and examine.
She is full of joy and sunshine and maybe a little bit of dynamite. She is sweet and kind but she will be no body's door mat when she grows up. Watching her outside making discoveries, chasing ducks and singing while she does it, is just a true joy. After a spot of duck chasing we head back to the garden where all of the camellias are losing their petals. They make a beautiful pink carpet on the ground to sit in and just for good measure tossing the petals into the air and having them rain down of you is always extra fun.
Thank you to her Mummy for allowing me to hang out with her and have girl fun.
